To sign up, please bring $10 cash per student, $20 max per family, to the Torah Prep Girls School Office, in an envelope marked with your student/family name and "Garden Club." Your participation fee provides materials needed for the club. Registration is preferred before Pesach, by Tuesday, April 18th. End date for registration is Wednesday, May 4th.
There will be a brief student participant meeting with Mrs. Friedman during lunch on Wednesday, May 4th, in which we will vote on plant choices and paint colors for the garden beds. (We need participation funds turned in well before that to budget what we can do this year.)
Our opening work party will be on Sunday, May 8th, from 9-11am. Mark your calendars! Wear shoes and skirts that can get muddy and possibly paint-splattered. (You can turn a skirt inside out if needed.) Bring water bottle, garden tools, paint brushes, and hammers.
Mrs. Friedman needs additional parent involvement to help plan, shop, and help groups of students during work parties! Or maybe you can just bring homemade lemonade to the hungry, hardworking gardeners at the work parties! Please get in touch: tpggarden@gmail.com
